GitHub favours traditional developers. LinkedIn favours self-promotion. Product Hunt favours distribution. None of them answer the real question: who is creating genuine value through building? A builder using Claude Code with no CS degree who ships a product 500 people rely on daily ranks higher than a developer with a pristine GitHub profile whose projects have no users. We measure the output, not the inputs.
How the Vibe Score Works
Every builder's Vibe Score is calculated from four factors:
Breadth
How many people your work reaches — downloads, users, engagement.
Depth
How much your work matters — retention, utility, and whether people depend on it.
Recency
Are you still building? Scores decay if you stop shipping. Building is a practice.
Consistency
Sustained value over time, not one viral moment followed by silence.
What We Don't Measure
Follower counts. Lines of code. Credentials. Self-promotion. Tools used. None of these tell you whether someone built something that matters. We deliberately ignore them all.
